Description: This metadata record describes the .5-foot pixel resolution digital orthoimagery produced for the Jefferson County by the Sanborn Map Company. This orthoimagery is provided 4-band (R, G, B, NIR), 8-bit per pixel and delivered in section tiles in uncompressed TIFF/TFW and compressed SID/SDW (20:1) format. A compressed mosaic is also provided in SID/SWD format (20:1). The data was flown on April 14th, 15th, and 18th of 2015 using an UltraCam Eagle camera and complies with the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Accuracy Standards (ASPRS) for Class 1, large scale maps at 1" = 100'. This orthoimagery is published in State Plane Wisconsin South Coordinate System NAD83 (US Survey Feet). The Vertical datum is National American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88).
